O’Neill’s Design & Construction is proud to have delivered a meaningful refurbishment for Miei in Melbourne Quarter. Miei is a not-for-profit organisation based in Melbourne, focused on community connection and empowerment. This project was more than just a build, it was about transforming a blank canvas into a welcoming, vibrant and functional space that supports Miei’s social enterprise model.
The new refurbished space has been carefully curated to reflect Miei’s values, incorporating a florist, café and flexible working area under one roof. These elements work in harmony to create a multi purpose environment that encourages creativity, social interaction and productivity.
Feature lighting and lush hanging plants bring warmth and personality into the space, softening the industrial tones and creating a calm atmosphere. To elevate the functionality of the café and support future growth, we integrated a fully equipped commercial kitchen and intelligent storage ensuring seamless day to day operations.
